Motion Sensors
Motion detectors are considered the most important part of the security systems. Motion detectors are good for the security purposes in both residential and official Areas. Motion detectors are of different types, depending on their manufacturing. Mostly, such detectors are manufactured by using infrared sensors in them. These infrared sensors can detect motion of any kind within a specific area.
Motion sensors are used in different places like indoors, outdoors or in driveways. Mostly they are installed in driveways to keep an eye on the movement of vehicles. There is a check on many driveways, by these sensors. Speed of any vehicle can be noted by these sensors. Motion sensors are also used in homes for security purposes. Anybody entering the home can be detected by these sensors.
Now there is some advancement in the motion sensors field. Solar light motion detectors are introduced in the market. These detectors can work with out electricity. It was the fault of detectors in the past that they dead with the breakdown of electricity. This problem is now eliminated by the solar motion detectors.
Home security motion detectors are of many kinds. Commonly two equipments are used, security alarms and security cameras. Security alarms have infrared light sensors, which help alarms to function properly. Whenever there is any intruder in the home, infrared sensors catch that movement and ring the alarms. Security cameras have got much popularity and are mostly used in homes and shopping malls. These cameras are connected with a monitor who records all the motions. An eye can be kept on all the motions outside or inside the premises.
Motion sensor lights are a little bit different from the alarms but these have same function of motion detection. These lights get on when there is any motion in the range of these lights. These lights can be installed outside or inside the home. Motion sensor lights are also commonly used in offices. Motion sensor lights are also operated by the battery so that the breakdown of electricity does not affect its proper functioning.
Now motion sensors are also used in bathrooms. These detectors turn on bathroom fan when somebody enters the bathroom. Motion detectors are used in the cars. Steeling of cars is reduced by the help of motion detector alarms. When there is a motion or any activity near the cars, these alarms begin to ring.
